Tilting Type isolators are having a fixed & moving contacts made E.C. Grade copper and die cast fingers of phosphor bronze having a inheriting non - detoriation spring quality at high temp and corrosion proof.

As per IS 9921

All ferrous parts are hot dip galvanized and non ferrous parts are heavily tin/ silver plated to provide protection against corrosion. Contacts for heavy current rating are silver plated. Switches up to and including 630 Amps. Rating are supplied with aluminum connector of 10mm die bore. Other types and size of connector clamps can be supplied according to customer requirements. It is possible to provide Earthing blade and Contacts and also interlocks to suit customers special requirements.

TILTING TYPE ISOLATING SWITCHES

Tilting type isolators are of the vertical opening Single break, Tilting Post type, for use on single & three phase Systems and are designed for sectionalizing purposes and for isolation of associated apparatus. All isolators are supplied complete with supporting bases, phase coupling Square Rod, Connecting angle leger, operating Galvanized pipe, manual operating mechanism.

The mechanism and operating lever are of the universal pattern & may be assembled for vertical or horizontal mounting. Provision is made for pad locking in the ON and OFF position and mechanical interlock may be fitted as and when required. As per IS 9921

All Switch links are arranged so that phase units can be mounted independently and then finally coupled to-gather after adjustment for alignment have been completed. The connecting angle lever is clamped to the phase coupling
